Boxing is a martial art and combat sport in which two people throw punches at each other, usually with gloved hands. Historically, the goals have been to weaken and knock down the opponent.
The term kickboxing is a somewhat generic one used to cover the combination of several different striking or stand up fighting styles that fall within the classification of sport martial arts. Though the term kickboxing was specifically initiated in Japan and evolved from full contact karate, its history and roots are in many ways tied to the Thailand martial art of Muay Thai Boxing as well. This class is opened to the beginner as well as the elite fighter. A great training session while learning how to take care of yourself and your loved ones on the streets!

With a high-intensity strength training classes that not only build muscle, but improve bone density, burn calories and boost metabolism. During your weight or strength training class, you can expect to burn 600 – 900 calories*, and also maintain a significant metabolism boost throughout the day. This is a high intensity class but you can always take it to your own pace.
Today, jujutsu is practiced in both traditional and modern sports forms. Derived sport forms include the Olympic sport and martial art of judo, which was developed by Kanō Jigorō. Jujutsu first began during the Sengoku period of the Muromachi period combining various Japanese martial arts which were used on the battlefield for close combat in situations where weapons were ineffective. This Class is a great way to get a workout while learning how to defend yourself.
